Starting in the fall of 2015, BMW will equip smart car keys for models with connected driving functions.
From the officially announced information, this smart car key that will be applied to other models is similar to the i8's smart car key, and a 2.2-inch LCD display is embedded. As with the touch screen, the owner can view information such as fuel quantity, battery electric range, door and window closure, and maintenance expiration by sliding on the touch screen. The conventional key functions include the vehicle unlocking, vehicle lock, long press the lock button to close all the door windows, long press the unlock button to open all the door windows and other traditional functions.
Like a mobile phone, this key is powered by a lithium-ion battery and can be charged inductively in the car's charging dock or via the Micro USB port. According to the official introduction, this key lock has a unique intelligent energy management system that ensures that the key is used for at least three months without the battery being charged.

A flange can also be a plate or ring to form
a rim at the end of a pipe when fastened to the pipe. A blind flange is a plate
for covering or closing the end of a pipe. A flange joint is a connection of
pipes, where the connecting pieces have flanges by which the parts are bolted
together.
Although the word flange generally refers to
the actual raised rim or lip of a fitting, many flanged plumbing fittings are
themselves known as 'flanges':
There are many
different flange standards to be found worldwide. To allow easy functionality
and interchangeability, these are designed to have standardised dimensions.
Common world standards include ASA/ASME (USA), PN/DIN (European), BS10
(British/Australian), and JIS/KS (Japanese/Korean). In the USA, ANSI stopped
publishing B16.5 in 1996, and the standard is ASME B16.5
