ZMDI launches two high-precision data acquisition system base chips (SBC) for vehicles

ZMD AG introduces the ZSSC1750 and ZSSC1751 high-precision data acquisition system base chips (SBC) for vehicles. As a global provider of analog and mixed-signal solutions for automotive, industrial, medical, information technology and consumer applications, ZMDI has developed a new battery management IC to expand its battery sensing and battery management portfolio. The ZSSC1750 and ZSSC1751 include two high precision, high resolution analog to digital converters (ADCs) for simultaneous measurement of battery voltage and current as well as internal and external temperatures. In addition, the ZSSC1750/1751 chip has a variety of power-saving modes of operation, including automatic periodic wake-ups that can run the entire sleep mode of the original. In the event of a fault (eg exceeding a predetermined current, voltage or temperature threshold), these SBCs will automatically wake up and alert the higher level controller. Both SBCs are controlled via the SPI interface. The ZSSC1750 can also use the LIN physical interface with additional communication options.

Accurate prediction of battery normal operating state (SOH), state of charge (SOC), or functional state (SOF) with integrated precision measurement solution

Two high-precision 24-bit sigma-delta analog-to-digital converters; 18-bit no code loss

Voltage channel input measurements range from 3.6 V to 28.8 V with an accuracy of ±60 ppm full scale

16-position internal and external temperature measuring device

Sleep mode current consumption is only 60 μA (standard)
