Qihao Optoelectronics released a number of innovative products such as XOB

"We believe that the future COB will no longer be COB. The future LED package will combine drive, optics and many important parts. He will be an integrated product," said Liu Jiaqi, chairman of Qihao Optoelectronics.

Since Qihao Optoelectronics made its first COB product in Taiwan in 2004, it is now in its tenth year. Today, the product XOB is released. The product is compatible with thyristor regulation and power factors above 0.95, which is different from AC LEDs on the market and direct drive LEDs.


XOB integrates all technologies of heat dissipation, encapsulation, encapsulation, optics, etc. into COB light source, with a diameter of 80mm and a thickness of about one centimeter. Combined with driving, it directly uses AC power, up to 20w or 30w. At the same time, one of the most important features of XOB is that it is easy to install. The three angle reflectors can be changed at will, making it easy, simple, cheaper and more convenient to use.

Liu Jiaqi also stated that “XOB is already in mass production and is in the process of further certification of CE and TUB.”

All products of COB packaging materials are moving forward. Different from the previous generation's new classic 7 series, it continues the previous product line, allowing users to easily improve the light efficiency and luminous flux without changing the mold, reflector, and optical design. The temperature resistance of the rubber material has also been greatly improved; more series sizes of 13 × 13mm have been added; and the customer's higher color rendering index has been customized.


The colorful LED RGB in One can control the interval of 160,000 colors, easily create the atmosphere and adjust the color of the environment you need. The dual color temperature COB can easily switch the color temperature in the same lamp.

What is Via In Pad? In shortly,via in pad is the via holes are at the SMD pad.The vias are very small,usually under 0.3mm.Why and how? First is there is no enough space to layout,you have to put the vias and holes closer even together.Second it helps thermal management and for high frequency boards,it may help improve signals.
Because the SMD pads are for SMD components loading,so the solder can not flow to inner layer or the other side when assemble.That is the most important for via in pad board.
How PCB manufacturers like us to do via in pad board? We will fill all vias with non-conductive epoxy and plate copper over it ,so the vias are flat same as others. Many PCB factories are unable to do such capability.
The key technology is how we fill vias and guarantee there is no any solder (surface finishing) in the holes.
Filled via in pad is a way to achieve intermediate density with an intermediate cost compared to using blind/buried vias. Some of the key advantages associated with using the via in pad technology are:
.Fan out fine pitch (less than .75mm) BGAs
.Meets closely packed placement requirements
.Better thermal management
.Overcomes high speed design issues and constraints i.e. low inductance
.No via plugging is required at component locations
.Provides a flat, coplanar surface for component attachment
Via in big pads are not a big problem.but for BGA,that is technology.As BGA pads are very small,10mil or 12mil,and there is no enough space.Manufacturing is not easy as other boards.
