Imagination Technologies said that as more companies integrate 802.11ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1 and other connectivity technologies into the system-on-chip (SoC) of various products, the company's Ensigma Series4 Explorer radio processor (RPU) The core has also gained widespread adoption in the market.

The new customers of Imagination Ensigma's Wi-Fi/Bluetooth portfolio IP core include Ineda, Toshiba, Toumaz, and a number of South Korean and Continental fabless semiconductor companies including Rockchip. Imagination will also announce other companies worldwide that use this technology.

As Imagination continues to expand its end-to-end Ensigma Wi-Fi solution from RF to software, the company's Wi-Fi Alliance certification program will ensure interoperability between devices. Imagination has been certified by Wi-Fi Alliance of Miracast and Passpoint a few days ago. Following the certifications of Wi-Fi CERTIFIED, Wi-Fi Direct, WPA, WPA2, WMM, and Wi-Fi Protected Setup, the technology content is stronger.
