Microsoft Develops Surface Smart Watch

On July 16th, Beijing time, the American technology blog BusinessInsider reported that Microsoft is testing a smart watch device and the testing team is mainly responsible for the test work.

Microsoft has tested different designs of smart watches, and the design and testing of these prototype products are all handled by Microsoft’s Xbox accessories team. The initial report stated that it is related to a heart rate monitor development project called “Joule”.

A recent report by technology blog AmongTech stated that Microsoft's smart watch prototype products use a variety of different colors of replaceable wristbands, including blue, red, yellow, black, white, and gray. The Verge learned that the news is accurate and reliable, and that these interchangeable colorful wristbands may become a major selling point for Microsoft smart watches.

AmongTech also said that Microsoft's smart watch prototype device uses aluminous alumina material - an expensive "translucent aluminum", which is said to have a hardness of three times that of glass.
