The first UHV line will double its capacity and three companies will directly benefit. State Grid Corporation announced yesterday that China’s first and the world’s first UHV transmission line will be expanded on the second anniversary of its successful operation. The total investment for the expansion project is 4.3 billion yuan, which lasted one year. After the expansion, the transmission capacity of this line will be doubled to 5 million kilowatts. From the perspective of transformers, switches, surge arresters, capacitors, reactors, and circuit breakers, listed companies in the successful bidder include Pinggao Electric, China West Electric, and Northeast Electric.
