Cypress Semiconductor, the market leader in capacitive touch sensing, today announced that TechInsight's Teardown.com found Cypress's TrueTouch® controller to drive the Qualcomm Toque smart watch touchscreen. The survey report entitled "Qualcomm Toq Disassembly" found Cypress's TMA140 controller in the ToqSW1 model and mentioned its fast and accurate touch screen navigation capabilities. The ToqSW1 can be connected to a smartphone via Bluetooth, providing access to notifications and other content beyond the standard watch features.
