STURTEVANT, Wis.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The BetaLED division of RuudLighting, Inc. introduced the 304 series of luminaires, the first luminaire for BetaLED to achieve the milestone of more than 100 lumens per watt. The Series 304 lamps with more than 100 lumens per watt (LPW) can save up to 70% of energy use and have the potential to bring huge benefits to our environment.

BetaLED304 system luminaires can be scaled to deliver up to 12,000 lumens of light output. This new range of luminaires delivers exceptional efficiency, longevity, lumen maintenance and light control while reducing energy use – especially for applications that turn on the lights around the clock. By utilizing a two-stage dimmer, the luminaire will save more energy, allowing users to further reduce operating costs while helping to protect the environment.
The 304 series lamps provide more than 100 lumens per watt and are suitable for embedded applications in ceilings and soffits (using petroleum symmetrical optics). The luminaire can be installed in a ceiling of a single or double-deck open-air gas station and in the soffits of buildings such as banks and fast food restaurants. Other optics upgraded with new technology will soon be available for other applications such as parking lots.
