The two-roll continuous rolling technology of Honglu 25kg molybdenum wire passed the appraisal

Recently, Fujian Province's major high-tech research and development plan project "25kg molybdenum wire two-roll continuous rolling process" passed the results of the Fujian Provincial Science and Technology Department. Applying this technology, Honglu Company has formed a production capacity of 5.5mm coarse molybdenum wire of more than 1,000 tons, making Xiamen a global large-scale molybdenum wire production base. The project was jointly completed by Fuzhou University, Xiamen Honglu Tungsten and Molybdenum Industry Co., Ltd., Fujian Metallurgical Company and Fujian Changle Sanfu Co., Ltd., and has been successfully applied to the production of the Honglu Company's molybdenum wire project. The experts who participated in the appraisal meeting spoke highly of the process. They believed that the project was the first of its kind, and it was the international leading level and the application value was extremely high. It is expected to eliminate the traditional rough molybdenum wire processing equipment and production process. This technology has applied for national invention patents. Xiamen Honglu Company is one of the largest tungsten wire producers in the world. The company has maintained the number one production and sales volume of tungsten wire for the fourth consecutive year. Its development speed and economic benefits have maintained rapid growth. The successful development of the 25kg molybdenum wire two-roll continuous rolling process will lay a solid foundation for the company to become the world's largest molybdenum wire production base. With the construction of the downstream product fine molybdenum wire production line, the project will be added after the project is put into production. The output value is more than 200 million yuan, with good investment income. Excerpt from Consumer Daily, January 8, 2004
