Google Upgrades iOS Voice Search Application

According to Apple Insider, a technology website, Google upgraded its Google search application for iOS on Tuesday and added voice recognition search capabilities. This will make the app a direct competitor to Apple's Siri voice assistant.

In the new Google search application, users can not only use voice to input keywords, but also can play search results by voice. After combining Google's “knowledge map”, these search results are more comprehensive and accurate than ever.

However, Google Voice Search cannot perform human-machine conversations like Siri, nor can it control certain system functions like Siri, such as composing emails, setting alarms, and other low-level operations.
