Epistar's high-voltage LED technology advances warm white light efficiency to 170 lumens/watt

Epistar Labs has announced that the Epistar Lab has successfully developed a number of technologies, including a new generation of transparent substrate conversion processes, fine structures that increase the photon extraction rate, and improved current distribution uniformity. Red LED efficiency of 174 lm/W at a wavelength of 610 nm.

At the same time, in the case of high-voltage blue LEDs, when paired with a formula that is different from conventional wavelength conversion materials, the warm white light with an excellent temperature of about 2,800 K can be verified to have an efficiency of 170 lm/W and a color rendering of 88. It is reported that Epistar's above-mentioned achievements have not only surpassed the predetermined goals, but also continue to lead the industry.

Jingyuan Optoelectronics stated that it will continue to develop more advanced technologies to enhance the efficiency of its products and work hand in hand with mid-and downstream customers to promote LED light sources to the lighting market.
