According to Taiwan media reports, industry sources said that Compal has already received Asustek’s 3 million notebook orders next year, which is also the first time that the two sides have cooperated on ODM products. Sources said that Asustek plans to ship 10 million notebooks next year and transfer the design and production outsourcing of these notebooks to its ODM partners. Among them, Heshuo has received 50% of orders, Quanta 25%, Compal 15% and Foxconn 10%.
In addition to new customers ASUS, Compal also received ODM orders from its customers Acer, Dell, Lenovo, HP and Toshiba next year.
